There's no place like home for Schalmont, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Cobleskill-Richmondville Bulldogs 6-5.

Cameron Daus made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out 11 batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. Schalmont is undefeated when Daus allows two or fewer earned runs, but 0-4-1 otherwise. Daus was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
