After a string of six wins, Mohonasen's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They lost 3-0 to the Guilderland Flying Dutchmen. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

While Mohonasen ultimately came up short, they really made Guilderland work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 27-25, 25-15.

Despite the loss, Mohonasen still got an impressive performance from Meghan Lavenia, who had 13 digs and five aces. Rayna Robert also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Hailey Elario was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had nine digs and six assists.

Mohonasen's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Guilderland, the win snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 3-5 record.

Mohonasen has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Troy on the 29th. As for Guilderland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Mekeel Christian Academy on the 27th.
