Having just played yesterday, the Bethel Assembly Christian Academy Eagles will get right back to it and host Coastal Brigade at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Bethel Assembly Christian Academy will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
On Thursday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Bethel Assembly Christian Academy beat Bethel Christian 46-41. The contest marked the Eagles' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Bethel Assembly Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Olivia Bazemore, who shot 64% from the field en route to 36 points in addition to five boards and three steals. The matchup was Bazemore's 11th in a row with at least 16 points. Caylin Hoggard was another key player, putting up four points.
Bethel Assembly Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds in four consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Coastal Brigade didn't have quite enough to beat Bethel Assembly Christian Academy last Tuesday and fell 38-36. The loss was Coastal Brigade's first of the season.
Despite the defeat, Coastal Brigade saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Maelyn Bledsoe almost dropped a triple-double with 16 points, 11 rebounds, and nine steals. Those nine steals set a new season-high mark for Bledsoe. The team also got some help courtesy of Penelope Lefebvre, who posted 15 points.
Bethel Assembly Christian Academy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Coastal Brigade, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Bethel Assembly Christian Academy has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 30.6 boards per game. However, it's not like Coastal Brigade struggles in that department as they've been averaging 27.6 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
