Volleyball Recap: Tigerton Extends Winning Streak to Three

Tigerton had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Faith Christian Academy Saints. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Saints, too.

Tigerton got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Renata Nordwig out in front who had 11 digs and seven aces. Those 11 digs gave Nordwig a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Presley Stewart-Rolfs, who had ten kills, six digs, and three aces.

Tigerton's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Faith Christian Academy, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Tigerton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Marion on the 28th. After both having extra time off, Faith Christian Academy and Port Edwards will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
