Soccer Recap: Mt. Zion Takes a Loss

Mt. Zion managed to keep up with Coosa until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Mt. Zion came up short against Coosa, falling 5-0. Mt. Zion has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mt. Zion's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Coosa, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mt. Zion will head out to square off against Douglas County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Coosa, they are taking a road trip to face off against Fannin County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Fannin County will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Coosa surely won't give up without a fight.
