Baseball Recap: Excel Christian Academy Eagles vs. Tyler HEAT
Excel Christian Academy extended their losing streak to eight on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 3-8 in the process. They came up short against Tyler HEAT, falling 14-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Tyler HEAT this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-0 last Friday.
Excel Christian Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was J. Wyatt Hoskins, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. That double was Hoskins' first of the season.
