Basketball Recap: Highland Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Highland challenged Higbee on Friday. The Highland Cougars'2024 ended with a 54-38 loss against the Higbee Tigers.

Highland's defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Higbee, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Highland will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Canton at 7:30 p.m. on January 14th. Higbee has already played their next contest, a 39-36 win against Albany on the 31st.
