Pillager lost to Bertha-Hewitt back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Huskies walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Bears. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Pillager's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Bertha-Hewitt, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.

Looking ahead, Pillager will head out on the road to square off against Staples-Motley at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bertha-Hewitt, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Renville County West on the 27th.
