Volleyball Recap: Kermit Takes a Loss

Kermit was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to Compass Academy. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Compass Academy this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss last Saturday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-12.

Kermit's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Compass Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Kermit wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Forsan on the 28th. As for Compass Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Big Spring on the 28th.
