Softball Recap: Bellbrook Comes Up Short

Aleina Powell made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

Bellbrook has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Newton Local, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-5.
