Baseball Recap: University Takes a Loss

University suffered their biggest loss since April 19, 2024 on Wednesday. They came up short against the Hamilton Yankees, falling 14-7. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 8-2 to the Yankees when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Evan Han was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

This is the second loss in a row for University and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for Hamilton, they pushed their record up to 4-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. University will face off against Hamilton at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hamilton, they will challenge St. Bernard at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. St. Bernard's pitching crew has only allowed 2.2 runs per game this season, so Hamilton's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
