Ashbrook put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past the Huss Huskies with points to spare, taking the game 16-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Greenwave's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 29th, while the Huskies are ranked 133rd).

Ashbrook's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Savion Lindsay, who rushed for 88 yards. Lindsay showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 50 yards.

Ashbrook's run defense was locked in: Huss could only muster -0.4 yards per carry. While three picked up at least eight total tackles, Javerian Jefferies stood above the rest. He picked up a sack and made eight total tackles (2.0 for loss). Ashbrook's ground attack was stronger, having averaged 4.6.

Ashbrook's victory bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Huss, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.

Ashbrook does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Huss, they will welcome Erwin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
