Football Game Preview: Three Lakes/Phelps vs. Wabeno/Laona

Wabeno/Laona will challenge Three Lakes/Phelps on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Wabeno/Laona is expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the match prepared for a fight.

Wabeno/Laona made easy work of Elcho/White Lake last week and carried off a 46-20 win. Wabeno/Laona was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

Meanwhile, Three Lakes/Phelps have to be hurting after a devastating 8-42 loss at the hands of Crivitz.

Wabeno/Laona's victory lifted them to 1-1 while Three Lakes/Phelps's defeat dropped them down to 2-1. We'll see if Wabeno/Laona's success rolls on or if Three Lakes/Phelps are able to steal their positive momentum.
