St. Ignatius moves up to No. 1, Cass Tech is No. 2.

The MaxPreps midwest region football computer rankings had a complete makeover at the top with two teams making a big jump to the No. 1 and No. 2 spots.
St. Ignatius, which reached its highest point last week at No. 8, moved into No. 1 after reaching the Division 1 state championship game. St. Ignatius will take on St. Xavier in the championship game.
Meanwhile Cass Tech, which was ranked No. 13 last week, rose to No. 2 with a win over Central Catholic in the Michigan Division 1 state championship game.
Center Grove, last week's No. 1, fell to No. 3 after losing to Carmel in the Class 6A state championship game.
The regional rankings are based on the MaxPreps National Football Computer Rankings, presented by the Army National Guard. The Midwest region includes teams from Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Kansas, Wisconsin, Nebraska and North and South Dakota.
