Glendale is a perfect 6-0 against Moshannon Valley since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Vikings will host the Black Knights/Damsels at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Glendale barely beat Williamsburg the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Vikings were the clear victors by a 16-5 margin over the Blue Pirates on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Blue Pirates: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Moshannon Valley hadn't done well against Juniata Valley recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Black Knights/Damsels sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over the Hornets. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Black Knights/Damsels.

Annabeth Anderson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on five hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Moshannon Valley let Ava Robison and Brinley Kephart run wild. Robison scored two runs while going 3-for-5, while Kephart scored a run while going 2-for-3. Those three hits gave Robison a new career-high. Mya Walstrom also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Moshannon Valley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 12 hits in three consecutive games.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Glendale, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Glendale took their victory against Moshannon Valley in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 11-1 score. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Black Knights/Damsels have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
