Basketball Recap: East Jessamine Gets the Win

After losing to Lafayette the last time they met, East Jessamine decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The East Jessamine Jaguars came out on top against the Lafayette Generals by a score of 63-55 on Sunday.

East Jessamine's win bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Lafayette, their defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-8.

East Jessamine will be playing in front of their home fans against Russell County at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Lafayette, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Tates Creek at 7:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
