Volleyball Recap: West Point Comes Up Short + How To Watch

West Point was the 3-0 winner over Russellville when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors fell 3-1 to the Golden Tigers on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 19-25, 25-23, 25-22.

Laklin Shadix paced West Point's offense, picking up 14 kills. Shadix got some help from Patton Fell and her 21 assists. Shadix also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Bella Thornton, racking up two apiece.

West Point's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Russellville, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-4.

West Point didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Lawrence County on the 11th. As for Russellville, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Lauderdale County on the 11th.
