Baseball Game Preview: Bentonville West Wolverines vs. Har-Ber Wildcats

For the second straight game, Bentonville West will face off against Har-Ber. The Wolverines will host the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Having struggled with six defeats in a row, Bentonville West turned things around against Har-Ber on Monday. They came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 5-1.

Will Geiger spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Bentonville West is 4-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-11 otherwise.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jeremiah Jones, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Damion Bridgeman was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Bentonville West's victory bumped their record up to 7-13. As for Har-Ber, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-6.
