Volleyball Game Preview: MCC Crescents vs. College Prep of America Thunder

The MCC Crescents will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the College Prep of America Thunder at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

Last Wednesday, MCC came up short against Islamic Foundation and fell 2-0. The Crescents haven't had much luck with the Chargers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

MCC may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 21 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-21.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for College Prep of America, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Universal on Wednesday. The Thunder have beaten the Stars the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Stars has come to flipping the script.

College Prep of America easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-21.

MCC's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for College Prep of America, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1.
