Basketball Recap: J.F. Webb Takes a Loss + How To Watch

J.F. Webb was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Franklinton Red Rams, falling 62-29. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 62-37 to the Red Rams when the teams met back in December of 2021, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Rihanna Hunt had a dynamite game For Franklinton., shooting 64% from the field on her way to 24 points and five boards. Those 24 points gave Hunt a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Asia Burton, who went 6-for-13 to rack up 14 points and three steals.

J.F. Webb's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Franklinton, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. J.F. Webb won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Weldon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Franklinton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bunn at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
