After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Saline, Dexter was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They strolled past the Chelsea Bulldogs with points to spare, taking the game 42-28. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Dreadnaughts' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 35th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 89th).

Dexter's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Chelsea, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Dexter will face off against Bedford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chelsea, they will head out to face off against Ypsilanti at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
