Omaha Nation had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They put the hurt on the Tiospa Zina Wambdi with a sharp 26-6 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Chiefs also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Akesha Starlin was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 69 yards and one touchdown.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Omaha Nation's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Mitch Grant, Javan Webster, and Zaren Bertucci, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Omaha Nation has already played their next game, a 56-6 victory against Marty Indian on the 4th. As for Tiospa Zina, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 50-0 defeat against White River on the 5th.
