Football Recap: Lebanon Takes a Loss

Lebanon lost against Conestoga Valley back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cedars were beaten by the Buckskins 49-15. The Cedars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-0.

Teagan Ruble produced another solid effort rushing for 59 yards and a pair of scores on only eight carries, while also picking up 64 receiving yards and one TD for Conestoga Valley. Sawyer Esbenshade was another key player, throwing for 163 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 passes.

Lebanon's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Conestoga Valley, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Lebanon will head out to square off against Elizabethtown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bears' defense has only allowed 14.3 points per game this season, so the Cedars' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Conestoga Valley, they are taking a road trip to challenge Governor Mifflin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Buckskins will be up against the Mustangs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 34 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
