Soccer Recap: Albemarle School's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

After flying high against Kerr-Vance Academy on Thursday, Albemarle School came back down to earth. The Colts fell just short of the Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech Griffins by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The loss put an end to Albemarle School's undefeated start to the season.

Javonte Borg wasn't going to let Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech walk away unscathed as he scored both of Albemarle School's goals, bringing his season total up to six goals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Albemarle School fell to 2-1. As for Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Albemarle School will head out to take on Holmes at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech, they will challenge Perquimans at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
