Basketball Recap: Springlake-Earth Takes a Loss

Springlake-Earth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 81-8 loss at the hands of the Nazareth Swifts. The match marked the Wolverines' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Springlake-Earth's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Nazareth, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-7.

Springlake-Earth will challenge Happy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Happy's defense has only allowed 29.1 points per game this season, so Springlake-Earth's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Nazareth, they will face off against Lazbuddie at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Nazareth has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last five games.
