Basketball Recap: Stearns Takes a Loss

Stearns was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. The matchup between them and the Penobscot Valley Howlers didn't end well, with the Stearns Minutemen falling 57-43. The Minutemen were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Howlers earlier this season, when they won 38-30.

Stearns' loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Penobscot Valley, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-13 record.

Stearns will square off against Schenck at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Penobscot Valley has already played their next game (against Dexter), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
