After a string of seven wins, Taylor County's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of the Adair County Indians by a score of 70-67. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Cardinals have suffered since December 14, 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Adair County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Connor Loy, who posted 15 points and eight assists. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Cochran, who scored 17 points and seven rebounds.

Taylor County's defeat dropped their record down to 24-6. As for Adair County, they are on a roll lately: they've won 19 of their last 20 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-5 record this season.
