Softball Recap: Everett Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Everett's offense. They fell 3-0 to the Stanwood Spartans on Monday. The Seagulls haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Everett's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Stanwood, their victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Everett will square off against Arlington at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Stanwood, they will challenge Snohomish at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Spartans 3.4, the Panthers 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
