Volleyball Recap: Lakeside Lutheran Victorious

Lakeside Lutheran saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Stoughton Vikings.

Lakeside Lutheran easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-13.

Several Vikings players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lia Tiede, who had 13 assists and five digs.

Lakeside Lutheran is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-11 record this season. As for Stoughton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-18 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakeside Lutheran will welcome Lake Mills at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stoughton, they will host Reedsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
