Volleyball Recap: Bear River Find Success

Bear River had to endure a three-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They skirted past the Manti Templars 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bears have posted since August 26th.

Their offense was headlined by Makell Garn and Robbi Marble, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Brynlee Garn and her 27 assists. Makell was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Bear River's victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Manti, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-14.

Bear River didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Providence Hall on the 4th. As for Manti, they will be playing in front of their home fans against San Juan at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
