Baseball Recap: Mannford Takes a Loss

Mannford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 13-4 to the Beggs Demons. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Quincy Ardrey made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

Mannford's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Beggs, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-5.

Mannford has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Perkins-Tryon on the 31st. As for Beggs, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 8-0 win against Depew on the 28th.
