Volleyball Recap: Ramona Extends Winning Streak to Three

Ramona entered their tilt with Moreno Valley on Friday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Moreno Valley Vikings 3-0.

While Ramona won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-16, 25-22.

Freddie Soto paced Ramona's offense, picking up 13 kills. Soto got some help from Jose Preciado and his 28 assists.

Ramona's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Moreno Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.

Ramona will take on Jurupa Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Moreno Valley, they will host Citrus Hill at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
