Basketball Recap: Central Academy Skates Past Hamtramck with Ease

There's no place like home for Central Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They breezed by the Hamtramck Cosmos to the tune of 71-27 on Tuesday. That looming 71-27 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Falcons yet this season.

Central Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.5 points over those games. As for Hamtramck, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-17.

Coincidentally, Central Academy and Hamtramck will both be playing Arbor Prep the next time they take the court. Hamtramck will host Arbor Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Central Academy will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
