While Treutlen's win against Dooly County wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Vikings narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Bobcats 15-13. The win was nothing new for the Vikings as they're now sitting on four straight.

Zaniel Stokes was his usual excellent self, rushing for 139 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 8.7 yards per carry, and also picking up 45 receiving yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Treutlen was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 201 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Dooly County only rushed for -2.

Treutlen didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Peyton Miller, Nate Miller, and Zion Brown picked up one apiece.

Treutlen's record is now 6-2. As for Dooly County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Treutlen will host Hawkinsville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Dooly County, they will face off against Telfair County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bobcats will be up against the Trojans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 25.67 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
