Soccer Recap: Hillcrest Takes a Loss

The Hillcrest Knights lost 5-1 to the Blackfoot Broncos on Thursday. Hillcrest have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Their goal came courtesy of Hagen Allred, which was the first he's scored this season.

Hillcrest's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8-2. As for Blackfoot, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Hillcrest will head out to face off against Shelley at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Shelley's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Blackfoot, they will head out on the road to take on Bonneville at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Blackfoot will be up against Bonneville's rather soft defense (which has allowed four goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
