Basketball Game Preview: Great Oaks vs. ASPIRA Charter Wolves

Great Oaks is on a four-game streak of home losses, ASPIRA Charter a 15-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. Great Oaks will welcome the ASPIRA Charter Wolves at 3:45 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Great Oaks fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against American History on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 52-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.

Meanwhile, ASPIRA Charter was beaten by Dickinson 75-45 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Delaware basketball rankings (they are ranked 60th, while the Rams are ranked tenth).

ASPIRA Charter's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Great Oaks, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.

Things could have been worse for Great Oaks, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 66-50 loss to ASPIRA Charter in their previous meeting back in February of 2024.
