Football Recap: Seguin Cougars vs. Red Oak Hawks

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Seguin was moving up and down the field and finished the game with 478 total yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Red Oak only gained 288.
Despite the loss, Red Oak had strong showings from Kingston Mcadams, who gained 104 total yards and a touchdown, and Billy Middleton, who threw for 150 yards and a touchdown. Red Oak also got help from Taz Williams Jr, who showed off his sure hands for 97 receiving yards.
Seguin pushed their record up to 2-0 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Red Oak, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-2.
Seguin is on the road again on Thursday to play Burleson at 7:00 p.m. As for Red Oak, they will host Cedar Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
