Despite the loss, Red Oak had strong showings from Kingston Mcadams, who gained 104 total yards and a touchdown, and Billy Middleton, who threw for 150 yards and a touchdown. Red Oak also got help from Taz Williams Jr, who showed off his sure hands for 97 receiving yards.
Seguin pushed their record up to 2-0 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Red Oak, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-2.
Seguin is on the road again on Thursday to play Burleson at 7:00 p.m. As for Red Oak, they will host Cedar Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
