Soccer Recap: Bear Creek Takes a Loss

Bear Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Littleton Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Bear Creek of the 8-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2022.

Bear Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9-1. As for Littleton, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bear Creek will welcome Dakota Ridge at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bear Creek will need to watch out since Dakota Ridge have now posted at least four goals in their last three contests. As for Littleton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against D'Evelyn at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
