Football Game Recap: Dracut vs. Acton-Boxborough

Acton-Boxborough took their contest against Dracut on Friday by a conclusive 35-7 score.

Acton-Boxborough's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 21 points in the first half. Dracut wasn't quite able to keep up, scoring 7 to make it 21-7 heading into the break. The Acton-Boxborough defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the match. Acton-Boxborough added further sheen to their flawless record, now 5-0. The loss dropped Dracut's record to 3-1.

Next week Acton-Boxborough take on Waltham at Leary Field in Waltham at 1:00 PM. Waltham took a loss in their last game and are no doubt out to reverse Acton-Boxborough's good fortune. Dracut will be playing at home against North Andover at at 7:00 PM. North Andover are cruising in on a five-game winning streak.
