Baseball Recap: South Garner Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for South Garner's offense. They lost 11-0 to the Clayton Comets on Friday. The defeat leaves the Titans still looking for their first win of the season.

South Garner's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Clayton, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Coming up, South Garner will head out on the road to face off against Willow Spring at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Willow Spring will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something South Garner surely won't give up without a fight. As for Clayton, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Garner at 7:00 p.m. The last three games Garner has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
