Volleyball Recap: Kelly Catholic Takes a Loss

Kelly Catholic lost against Silsbee back in September of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1.

When it comes to explaining why Kelly Catholic lost, don't look at Abigail Brown. Despite the final result, she had 11 digs and one block. Another player making a difference was Claudia Espinosa, who had 13 digs.

Kelly Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Silsbee, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Kelly Catholic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Warren on the 16th. As for Silsbee, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Kountze on the 16th.
