Those two hits allowed gave her a new career-low. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
In other batting news, Myla Wotring made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Allyson Teets was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Philip Barbour, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They never let Liberty get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory on Friday. The Colts haven't had any issues with the Mountaineers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Philip Barbour let Lindsey Moss and Stefanie Barker run wild. Moss went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI, while Barker went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those three runs gave Barker a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Katelyn Cooper, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.
Philip Barbour was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .522. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Preston's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Philip Barbour, their victory bumped their record up to 9-11-1.
