Softball Recap: Mendon Unity Mustangs vs. Pleasant Hill Wolves
Mendon Unity took an eight-run loss the last time they faced off against Pleasant Hill, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Mustangs had just enough and edged out the Wolves 8-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Mustangs have posted since April 3, 2025.
Addison Spilker made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and three unearned) runs off 14 hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
