MaxPreps Top 50 high school football scores: No. 3 St. Joseph's Prep wins third straight Pennsylvania 6A state title

No. 19 Cathedral wins 13th state title and first since 2014 with 46-28 victory over Zionsville in Indiana 5A championship.

Kyle McCord and No. 3 St. Joseph's Prep (Philadelphia) had no problem with a 10-0 Central York (York) squad in the Pennsylvania 6A state championship. The Hawks cruised to a dominant 62-13 win to claim their third straight state title. McCord completed 21-of-28 passes for 337 yards and four touchdowns.

General Booty and No. 12 Allen (Texas) were in a tight one against Prosper (Texas) in a game that featured nine lead changes and five in the fourth quarter. Each team answered touchdowns in five straight possessions and Booty led the Eagles on a 12-play 75-yard drive capped off with a one yard touchdown pass to Oklahoma State commit Bryson Green. The score gave Allen a 35-31 lead with :06 left to extend its regular season win streak to 82.

In other Texas action No. 2 North Shore (Houston) cruised to its 25th straight victory with a one-sided 63-14 win over Atascocita (Humble). Auburn-bound quarterback Dematrius Davis accounted for six scores as the Mustangs head into the 6A Division 1 playoffs 10-0 and look to win their third consecutive state title.

No. 17 Center Grove (Greenwood) won its first state title since 2015 after beating Westfield 38-14 in the Indiana 6A championship. Carson Steele finished his high school career on a high note rushing for 138 yards and two touchdowns. He ended his senior year with 31 rushing touchdowns and nearly 1,700 yards. The Trojans defense did not allow more than 14 points in any game this year. 



In the Indiana 5A state title game No. 19 Cathedral (Indianapolis) won its 13th championship in school history and first since 2014. Nathan McCahill completed 25-of-32 passes for 305 yards and five touchdowns in the 46-28 win over Zionsville. Camden Jordan hauled in 11 receptions for 97 yards and three scores.

Raymore-Peculiar (Peculiar) snapped No. 9 De Smet Jesuit's (St. Louis) 20-game win streak with a dominant performance in the Missouri 6A state championship. They cruised to a 23-0 upset victory and sophomore Jaidyn Doss had a monster game accounting for well over 100 total yards and three touchdowns. It was the Panthers fourth state title in school history and first since 2006.

The Georgia 7A playoffs got underway and No. 4 Grayson (Loganville), No. 11 Colquitt County (Moultrie), No. 35 Lowndes (Valdosta) and No. 38 Norcross all won big in their playoff opener.
