While Carmi-White County's victory against Gallatin County wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Carmi-White County had just enough and edged out Gallatin County 4-3. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hawks on Monday, too.

Gavin Holoman was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in March of 2024. Hayden Sauls also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

The win snapped Carmi-White County's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-3 record. As for Gallatin County, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Carmi-White County has already played their next match, a 5-5 tie against Hardin County on the 25th. As for Gallatin County, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-5 victory against Norris City-Omaha-Enfield on the 25th.
