Softball Recap: Bethlehem Wildcats vs. Vernon Yellowjackets
Bethlehem and Vernon squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Bethlehem had to settle for second. They lost 15-7 to the Vernon Yellowjackets. Bethlehem has not had much luck with Vernon recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
For Vernon's part, they got a massive performance out of Jonei Gordon, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, a triple, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Ava Roche, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.
Bethlehem's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Vernon, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-9.
