Twin Loup is 10-0 against Elba since February of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the Twin Loup Wolves will head out on the road to face off against the Elba Bluejays at 7:00 p.m. Twin Loup will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

In Thursday's Canine Competition, Twin Loup came out on top. They enjoyed a cozy 59-45 win over Anselmo-Merna on Thursday. The Wolves pushed the score to 48-22 by the end of the third, a deficit the Coyotes cut but never quite recovered from.

Meanwhile, Elba played a tough match on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Heartland Lutheran and fell 61-21. The Bluejays have struggled against the Red Hornets recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Twin Loup will have to keep a close watch on Blake Barg and Ethan Lange, a pair of players who had a big impact on Elba's prior game. Barg posted ten points and eight boards, while Lange had four points. Barg has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times he's played.

Twin Loup has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.1 points per game. As for Elba, their loss dropped their record down to 2-16.

Everything came up roses for Twin Loup against Elba in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 61-23 victory. In that contest, Twin Loup amassed a halftime lead of 38-10, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
