Basketball Recap: East Buchanan Comes Up Short

East Buchanan played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the North Linn Lynx, falling 79-46. While losing is never fun, the Buccaneers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 319th, while the Lynx are ranked 54th).

East Buchanan's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-14. As for North Linn, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-2.

East Buchanan will be playing in front of their home fans against Central City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Linn, they will head out on the road to challenge Maquoketa Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
