Volleyball Recap: Willows Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Willows was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the University Prep Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 two weeks ago.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-12, 25-20.

Among those leading the charge was Maya Tabarez, who had 15 digs and three aces. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

Willows' defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for University Prep, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Willows will venture away from home to take on Colusa at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for University Prep, they will head out to face off against Gridley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
