Baseball Game Preview: Hawkinsville Red Devils vs. Crawford County Eagles

The Hawkinsville Red Devils will face off against the Crawford County Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Hawkinsville is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game dating back to last season on Wednesday. They came up short against Taylor County, falling 16-1.

Meanwhile, Crawford County gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Wilcox County a 2-0 shutout. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since April 29, 2024.
